Alien Vampires

So last night around 11pm My creativity was on fire, I didnt know what I was going to make or how it was gonna look. I was thinking about Nosferatu and Aliens then decided right there that I was going to make a skin. I was so surprised at how I still have it after these past couple years. it was a great success! So.. what happens when Aliens and Vampires have a baby? This skin of course! I call it "Spryte" comes in 3 different colors Green, Blue, and Grey. Skin took a total of 4 hours and 30 mins to make all done freestyle by a mouse ^_- I was in bed by 4am I dont know why all my creativity pops up during the night its kinda weird o-O anyways pics up top. Im going to take a little break might hop on WoW not really sure though.

It has been almost 2 years that I have not been on imvu. I just came back a week ago. All my hair textures, clothing opacities, skin textures.. are gone. in case you havent read the last post go read it now.
For my returning I decided to start slow sense I have not worked with texturing or any type of content creating.. not even photo manipulation in almost 2 years. I recently made 5 new hair colors from scratch and I have to say im pretty proud of myself. jeez it takes hours of work now I remember why I quit >->
Anyways as you may have noticed, I changed my name. I thought for my resurrection I should start fresh sense all my textures and opacities are starting brand new ya know?
As I said in my group announcement I tried working on an outfit. my opacity was awesome but my texturing was abysmal which makes me a sad monkey cuz before I quit my outfit texturing kicked fucking ass. It was literally way better then most of these "pro" devs you see out there.
I skimmed through the catalog and a lot of things there are either "rainb0wesq" or "lollirotesq"
I prefer individuality, the artistic ppl that find their creativity based on like a tin can or a piece of fruit, Instead of things like "oh lollirots new outfit looks cute its giving me an idea"

I made a new icon.. I just checked out a youtube video on how to transparency cuz yes.. I forgot how :D just like i forgot how to make animated graphics -.- extremely out of practice I know!

I reallly wanna get my custom skin shop up and working again because I was really good at it >:[ plus they were free ^_- when I open up my skin shop again its still gonna be free. I might open up my fur shop as well :O
I just need to start making skin textures though cuz right now I have nothing >-<

logging off for the night. Its 3:30am and i have not been up this late sense I last played imvu o-O

Another reboot

So... for 2 months I was using internet explorer cuz my firefox wouldnt open.. nor would windows live or anything else I would try to download... like warcraft for example >:-[ all because of some stupid virus avg found that made "logon.exe" get lost. So for 2 months I had a slow computer with lame as sloooow internet explorer. On startup I would get a pop up saying "warning: windows cannot find logon.exe folder" and that was why.

So today I had enough of it... I rebooted my computer AGAIN for the bajillionth time. Before I rebooted it though.. I saved my textures and my opacities that I made in december so that they wouldnt get lost.. smart thinking eh? unfortunately some of my textures were saved in bmp format and turns out flickr converted them to jpg...laaaaamesauce.

Now my firefox works again :D all I have to do is re-install imvu and stuff
My group is dead... -_- If only I was one of those devs that people actually like >_>
I have to try sooooo hard >:-[

did I tell you my skin request thread was open for a whole week in the prodect requests forum on imvu.. and NO ONE requested anything!!! they were FREE skin requests too!!! am I plagued or something??? gawsh I ended up deleting it too! cuz no one even posted a comment like "nice skins" or "reserve :O"..not even a hate comment... I only made 600credits today!... and 2 days ago I made 0 creds!!! literally n one bought anything!!!

Ive been deving sense July 6th 2006.

Long time huh?.... yes very.

You see... when I started I didnt know jack diddly squat. I was 16. I had ZERO knowledge of all things dealing with deving. I didnt know what an opacity was... I didnt know what textures were...I didnt know how to do anything. You see back in 06... there was no such thing as the "Texture" Forum. There were no Tutorials that I knew of. None of my friends were devs so they couldnt teach me. I had to teach myself. Which is why today... I keep it old fashioned

I dont believe in File sales. I dont believe in "instant" add ons.

I do everything myself... all work 100% han..I mean Mouse crafted by me.

Now down to business.

Frustration

Starting a new line of male tops... I spent the last hour and a half working on the opacity for my first top... Opacities dont take that long to make. My mind is so messed up right now I kept saving the texture OVER the opacity.. I did it 2 times in a row only to realize my opacity has some spots missing. so There I went again.. making the opacity alll over again. After the last mistake of saving the texture over the opac... I lost it.. Frustration... ughghghghghgh /fasedesks. So for tonight. Im taking a break. I'll start it tomorrow when I wake up... oh no wait I wont cuz I'll be getting ready to visit my mom. So most likely... Tomorrow night is when I'll be able to start it.

On another note... 69Step has given the opportunity to play with his meshes again >:D

Im back.. After 2 months of deving hiatus. A lot has happened in 2 months. I got a lovely haircut.. and.. I went down another tier... Hello Tier 3, its good to see you again :) I made 3 custom skin tones for myself.. theyre made after the makeup and eyebrows I draw on in real life.. when I go out.. So the price is higher.. 1k to be exact.

I Made my first outfit Yesterday night... Its based on one of my own.. again in real life.. yes.

I started this outfit at 1:36am and Finished at 3:58am

Throughout the whole time of making it I was listening to Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" over and over.. on a loop. I can now say that I have that song memorized now :P

Here is the outcome.. and I have to say it looks VERY good for my comeback :D

I have not used the computer sense Last Thursday... and heres why:

Well it did but it would get to the black screen with all the words on it that said stuff like "your computer has failed to start up it may have something to do with missing files".. "Computer will restart in 20 seconds"

then it would do that over and over again... black screen then restart

Last time I rebooted my computer...some programs stayed like Firefox, Piratesv of the Caribbean Online and most important Arcsoft Photo Impression which I use to make make products and display pics.. basically everything that involves pic making

BUT THIS TIMMME! My dad rebooted the system.. yesterday night and EVERYTHING WAS WIPED CLEAN
I dont have ANYTHING on my computer anymore D: it looks just like a brand new computer with nothing on it! I had to re-download firefox.. and of course im gonna have to re-download imvu

No more Arcsoft Photo Impression :-[

do you have any idea how bad this is??

1. I cant download it cuz its not free and I dont know the code cuz my moms the one that bought it back in 2003 and of course she doesnt remember the code!

2. I cant download gimp because I DONT KNOW HOW to DEV on gimp! and I for sure dont have any time trying to learn how >:-[

October is HERE... and you know what that means >:-] As some of you might now.. I am a HUGE Halloween lover... shet I still go trick-or-treating.. 8D

anyways.. I have been neglecting imvu as you can obviously tell by the large gap in blog posts.. plus the slowness of my work on product requests. I havent been on the computer much.. Ive been on long enough to check my messages and sales reports... and that's it. I havent been on the client to chat socially in 2 weeks. Ive been super anti-social.. its bad I know :-[

BUT!! heres the plus side :) I figure im gonna come out of my doom-and-gloom atitude with a BANG.. Starting with... -drum roll- a NEW Halloween Line :D If you recall my last years line consisted of 4 different costumes each with a maching skintone. This year is going to be different. My Halloween '09 is gonna be Cyber-Halloween status Consisting of: Outfit, Skin, Boots.

Compuer Scare

Something -irrelevant- with imvu

So my sister was on my computer doing her little jig.. next thing i know she comes to the living room to watch tv. I think to myself "why did she get off the comp early?" 3 hours later I go to my room and discover the computer is off. I click the "on" button on the "System Unit" thingy and it didnt turn on. I then clicked it again.. and again and again and it still didnt turn on O_O I then went and looked at the plug thingy where you can put a number of plugs in and checked if they were all plugged in..... they were >:O

I then turned the plug holder thingy off then back on to see if it would make the computer start.... It didnt D:

I then pronounced my computer... "Dead" then say "thank gawd i had my skins saved in photobucket"... you know just in case

about about 6 hours later I come back and re-plug in all the plugs..... click the button on the computer one last time and... VIOLA! it turned on!!!.. -dances-

but jeebus.. imagine if my computer was actually dead for reals?.... that would suck nacho cheesedoodles... Dx

oh nd ... I have not started on my requests cuz ive been really busy cleaning my room... I wanna paint my room.. and to do so I have to clean out this tornado victim pile of mess

Weekends Off

Well its the weekend and as some of you might not know.. I dont develop during the weekends. On another note... my homepage has reverted back to my 3 main colors "Lime, Fuchsia, Orange" It flip flops monthly... Dark.. Bright.. Dark.. Bright... hmm

Peer Review

So for a short time Peer Review was having products go through super fast... 24 hours at the most! That was great.. and the reason for it is cuz it just needed 3 votes to pass through. Now its back to its old ways of taking days to go through... why? cuz somehow it reverted back to needing 5 votes to pass. Fuzzin Sucks I know huh?

Ive been doing Peer review like crazy lately.. you know how crazy? Ive reviewed over 700 products to try to make mine go through faster... Now im telling you people right now... It doesnt work >:-[ Basically cuz theres thousands of devs making new products every minute of the day. and peer review is like the energizer bunny.. it keeps going and going and going and going and going and.. you get the drift?

and another thing! Im so sick of some of these devs that pas EVERYTHING in peer review.. they dont even check the product display pic or the product itself to see if its following the MCG! Ive failed over 6 products for nudity and these dumbasses that dont even try to do peer review the right way Pass them... which means that me! and the small percentage of people who actually do things right.. end up getting a bad grade! and yes we are graded on how well we do peer Review!

Like me for example.. this is what I have-
Pending votes: 12 Completed votes: 758 Correct: 757 Incorrect: 1 Accuracy: 99.9%

It used to say 3 incorrect but the products that dumbasses passed through finally got flagged :)
but anyway yah.. I think those dumbasses should get their Peer Review privlages taken away for not doing it right!.. I have a feeling most of those people are the ones that still turn in Music rings and shit like that -rolls eyes-

on another note -kicks peer review- go faster!!!!!!!

Catalog Page

So my Catalog page finally looks decent and not sloppy for once... The new display pic took me 2 days to make cuz all the backgrounds I was making looked like shit lolz. and Finally I made one that actually looks good -Dances- My Spray Paint can is once again being shown in my product display pics... Hurrah for the Spray Can :D -jingles- All in all this took me a total of 2 hours and a half to finish... Instead of going for the Light bright bubblly neon colors on a white background I have went with a Black one. Its more me.. plus it wont blind your eyes when your Product hunting late at night ahaha.

I have also turned the male Korrupt line into Peer Review... finally huh? So anywayz I'll start on requests later.. by later I mean 12am... I work best at those times for some reason O_o I think its cuz I dont get any distractions from the outside world heh heh.

I walked into a room last night wearing the male KorGawth outfit... a guy then looked at me and said "I hate you.. your trying to out beat me in most feminine" I then said to him "I already have... for I.. am a girl" lolz .. he then said "oh ok good that changes everything then :)"

Good times.. good times in the Furry Playroom xD ..I will start working on requests tomorrow... Ill be working fast this time doing one request a day!.. instead of one request every week lmfaoo >_>

Male/Female Compatability

I recently figured out how to make accessories Male/Female Compatable. I always wonder how Devs made Monster boots and Female hairstyle able to fit the male Avi. Turns out the process is so Simple a ..no im not gonna say Caveman!.. a Child can do it.. heh

All it takes is 3 numbers on the previewer.
The "special" tab.. theres a sentence on the top saying "Compatable Body Pattern Product Ids" and next to it will have a box saying "80" which means "Female avi" Turn out you can write in that box!... well in the box you add this: 80, 191 <----exactly like that and click "apply changes" and viola! Your product is Male/Female compatable :D Its that simnple! and here I was Wracking my brains out for a whole year trying to figure how to do that lulz nub

Unfortunaly there is some clipping when it comes to fitting a males avi into female avi products... the Monster boots for example as you can see Clip at the top. To fix that im gonna have to as Garaa21 said " make socks that can blend with the boots" (thanks Garaa ^-^) So what im gonna do is draw the socks on the skin so it can be easier and less hassle.

My Male line is now 90% complete Yeeeeey.. and when this is done I can finally work on requests!

Prettier Catalog page?

Right now im in the process of making new things so that my catalog page wont look so plain. Its 3am and ive been multi-tasking all day -yawns-
Anyways.. the new catalog display will have links leading to: Catalog, Homepage, Group, Blog, and Banners.

The Icon pics will still be the same though.. cuz man I love that icon pic its the best one ive ever made :'D.. and so that my catalog looks fresh Im gonna change my old icons into the new one that says "Mordy" cuz you know... it looks pretty messy when every page you visit theres different icons >_o

The reason im gonna post a link for my banners is because I have 2 soon to be 3 different banners out and I want people to have a choice of which banner they want to put on their page :)

Projekt:Korruption

As some of you may have known I have recently come out with a new line of products called "Korrupt"
Now Korrupt of course branches off into two categories. "Korrupt Gawth" and "Korrupt Kandy"

Now Korrupt can mean a certain number of things..
1. To lower morally
2. To alter
3. To Spoil
4. To make Putrid
and last... my favorite
To Infect

The female line is 100% complete and can be found in my catalog

The Male line however is only 40% done... by 40% I mean the Outfits are finished

This is by far my BIGGEST line of products It will take up a whole product page.. thats how big it is. Of course its not as big as Maxis29's Gothic line which takes up 3 and a half pages! now thats huge O_O

Gawth is the colors of Black & White
Kandy is Ravebow <-- I say Ravebow cuz it does not have the color "Red" so it cannot be deemed an actual Rainbow.. hehe :P

Anyways. Pictures of my Korrupt line will come as soon as I finish making the Male skins :)
